Shravanabelagola Digambar Jain Jnana Prasaraka Sangha was officially founded under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, and is recognized as a Religious Minority Institution by the Government of Karnataka. The establishment was envisioned by His Holiness Jagadguru Karmayogi Swastishree Charukeerti Bhattaraka Mahaswamiji.

Sri Shravanabelagola Digambar Jain Jnana Prasaraka (SSDJJP) Sangha is a registered Jain educational and charitable society based in Shravanabelagola, Karnataka, established to promote value-based education and community upliftment under the principles of Digambara Jainism.
Overview
- The SSDJJP Sangha was founded on November 18, 1982, under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, following the inspiration of His Holiness Jagadguru Karmayogi Swasthishree Charukeerti Bhattaraka Mahaswamiji during the Mahamastakabhisheka 1981 at Shravanabelagola.
- It serves as the educational wing of the Shravanabelagola Digambar Jain Math (SDJM) and functions as a registered charitable society and religious minority institution recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
- The Sangha’s mission is to provide quality education rooted in character building, humanitarian values, and Jain ethical principles, especially for students from Shravanabelagola and surrounding rural areas.
Educational Institutions
The Sangha manages a range of educational institutions spanning from primary schooling to professional and technical education, many of which are specially aimed at community development.
Many of these institutions are Jain religious minority institutions and are recognized or approved by appropriate governing bodies (e.g., AICTE for technical education).
